Vampire Diaries’ Matthew Davis and wife Kiley Casciano Davis are expecting their first child

“Arriving 2020!”

The Vampire Diaries’ Matthew Davis has announced he and his wife Kiley Casciano Davis are expecting their first child together.

The actor, who played Alaric Saltzman on the CW drama, shared the news with a photo of adorable baby clothes on Instagram.

“And then there were five,” the first shirt reads, referring the the couple, their two dogs and the baby. The other one joked that “shit just got real.”

Also included in the announcement was a photo of the scan.

Casciano Davis shared the news on her own Instagram account, where she confirmed that they were expecting a baby girl – and that she is due in April 2020.

Friends and fans rushed to congratulate the parents-to-be.

“CONGRATS MATT YOU’RE GONNA BE AN AMAZING FATHER,” one enthusiastic fan wrote.

“So happy for you guys !!! Congrats,” someone else added.

“Congrats brother! So awesome,” another person added.

The couple wed on Christmas Eve 2018, after they got married on the same day the Legacies star proposed.
