Two weeks ago Dublin trio Niamh, Terence and Harry launched a Facebook campaign to find their doppelgangers.
They gave themselves 28 days to find their online lookalikes, their mission statement reads:
“They say there are 7 people in the world who look exactly like you…we want to find OUR Twin Strangers”
Just two weeks into their project Niamh met Karen. She posted on Facebook:
“Meet my Twin Stranger Karen! I found Karen through the power of social media and this weekend we met up in real life! Not going to lie – we were both were pretty freaked about seeing our double in the flesh. What do you think? Can I do better?”
Incredibly the Niamh (26) and Karen (29) live only an hour away from eachother.
The video of the two girls meeting has since gone viral with over 1 million views on YouTube so far. The TwinStrangers Facebook page has been inundated with requests from followers for help in finding their own twin stranger.
