If you weren’t at Electric Picnic last weekend, you’ll have been glad enough to have experienced a fair few rays of sunshine while you were wandering about the place anyway.
You weren’t in a field in Laois and you didn’t have a load of warm cans baking in your tent, but the weather was nice enough and that’s the main thing.
And the weather looks set to be nice enough this weekend coming too, which is fairly good news for those of us who do or don’t have an abundance of plans headed our way over the next few days.
According to Met Eireann, the high temperatures haven’t been totally lost because highs up to 19 degrees are expected over Saturday and Sunday.
Not the worst news we’ve heard in a while, tbh.
On Saturday, temperatures will stay between 15 and 19 with a few light breezes scattered around to keep the place fairly cool. There’ll be some showers in the east and south in the morning but these will disappear as the day goes on.
Sunday will be a similar kind of day with patchy rain affecting western counties but overall, it’ll be dry and sunny enough across the rest of the country.
Better make some plans, so.
