Some people choose their baby’s name at random. Others have always had certain names in mind. This woman, well she named her son after an airline.
But before you think that’s a bit crazy, it actually does have a pretty incredible story behind it.
According to news.com.au, the female passenger went into labour shortly before her Jetstar Asia flight touched down in Myanmar.
Thankfully, with the help of airline staff and three doctors who were on board, the baby boy was delivered safely.
The mum then decided to name her new arrival ‘Saw Jet Star’ as a sign of the care she received.
According to the airline’s Facebook page, mother and child have been discharged from the local hospital and are in good health.
The little one, who weighed 6lbs 7oz, is the first baby to be delivered on a Jetstar Asia flight and the company is celebrating by contributing baby supplies to the family.
