It’s one of the first songs most of us learn the words to, but despite its years of popularity, the ABCs leave a lot to be desired in terms of performance.
Until now, that is.
Two-year-old Violet Ogea is getting a standing ovation from the internet this week for her frankly stunning performance of the famous alphabet song.
The pint-sized performer from the US town of Shreveport, Louisiana, decided to give the tune some much-needed panache.
Mum Christina told KTLA:
‘She would start singing songs back to me so I decided to start singing the alphabet to her so she could learn them.
‘We are always playing music in our house, dancing with the kids and she just loves to sing for us all.’
With over five million views, a video of the tot posted by her mum on Facebook has turned Violet into a viral singing sensation. In fact, she’s even due to appear on the Ellen show, where she’ll be sharing a stage with none other than Tom Hanks for the Season 14 premiere.
