With McGregor’s epic victory over the weekend, it got me thinking how The Child and the Notorious actually (weirdly) share quite a few traits.
I’m not sure if this is a good or a bad thing but here’re 10 ways The Notorious Child is EXACTLY like Conor McGregor:
1. He also regularly gets me up at 5 am for NOTHING
Okay not that McGregor’s win was nothing but you know what I mean, we were hoping for a bit more bang for our buck…
2. He requires multiple outfit changes each day…
Though presumably (hopefully) McGregor’s keen interest in fashion is not motivated by self-soiling.
3. He is adept at mind games
Though The Child’s mind games are usually motivated by becoming the UCF (Ultimate Contrary Fecker) rather than the UFC (Ultimate Fighting Champion). Seriously does he want the bottle or not it’s impossible to know due to his addiction to shouting ‘NO’ to everything.
4. Jose Aldo wouldn’t last longer than 13 seconds with The Child either
The Child would only have to cry for 13 seconds straight or shout Jose’s name 48,000 times while Jose was trying to go to the loo and he would fold like a napkin.
5. He too is capable of crushing the gentle spirits of grown men
I have seen The Man weep many times at 5 in the morning after going a few rounds of “please, please go back to sleep…” with The Child. Like with McGregor, pleading does not work with The Child.
6. His tiny left hook is also fairly lethal
Especially when coupled with the element of surprise which he is especially good at employing.
7. He regularly pulls this move whenever I’m trying to have a lie in…
I call it the toddler hold, and it’s near impossible to break free of.
8. He struts like an absolute BOSS
9. He also enjoys lounging around in his underpants/nappy at all times
Similar to McGregor, clothes can look weirdly out of place on the The Child.
10. He’s got his name tattooed to his torso…
Okay that one’s not TRUE but he does enjoy drawing on himself, usually with permanent marker.
