Brian Austin Green has spoken out against people who have an issue with his 4 year old son wearing dresses.
The Beverly Hill 90210 alum and wife Megan Fox’s eldest son Noah has been photographed on family outings in a dress and occasionally a dress up wig.
And now the dad has opened up on the criticism the couple have encountered for allowing the young boy to wear dresses.
He told the Hollywood Pipeline YouTube channel:
“My son, you know, he’s four.
“And I’ve heard from some people that they don’t agree with him wearing dresses. To them I say, ‘I don’t care.’
“He’s four, and if he wants to wear it, then he wears it. And it’s dresses or goggles or, you know, slippers, whatever.
“I feel like, you know, at four, at five, that’s a time when he should be having fun.
“He’s not harming anyone, wearing a dress. So if he wants to wear a dress, awesome; good on him.”
It’s not the first time that Noah’s parents have opened up about the topic.
Megan Fox appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live In February 2016, where she shared her support for her son’s wardrobe choices.
She said:
“Noah wears dresses, so there are no rules. You can be whatever you want to be in my house.”
Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green first met on the set of Hope & Faith in 2004, before eventually getting engaged in 2006.
They called off their engagement in 2009 before reconciling and getting married the following year.
The couple welcomed Noah on September 27, 2012 and their second son Bodhi in February 2014.
The New Girl actress filed for divorce in August 2015, but the couple never legally ended their relationship.
They reconciled again in early 2016, after the Transformers star confirmed she was pregnant.
The couple welcomed their third son, Journey, in August last year.
