Caitlin Jenner has shared a tribute to daughter Kylie and her “beautiful” newborn baby girl.
The reality TV star took to Instagram to congratulate her daughter on the birth of her first child.
She also shared a photo of Kylie herself as a baby.
The post read:
“My daughter just had a daughter. It’s amazing to be by your side through this journey.
“She’s SO beautiful already. Can’t wait to watch her grow. Throwback to my baby, as a baby.”
Caitlin was in Dublin attending the Xposé awards on Thursday, February 1, when Kylie was giving birth.
The youngest Jenner had chosen to keep her pregnancy a secret for nine months, purposefully keeping a low profile in life and on social media.
On Sunday night, Kylie took to Instagram to reveal that she had been expecting and that she had given birth to a “beautiful and healthy” baby girl.
Kylie also apologised to her fans for keeping them in the dark about her pregnancy.
She said that she chose to do everything in secret because to prepare for the “role of a life-time” she wanted to be “stress-free.
She wrote:
“There was no gotcha-moment, no big paid reveal I had planned.
“I knew my baby would feel every stress and every emotion so I chose to do it this way for my little life and for our happiness.”
Kylie also shared a video documenting the last nine months of her life right up until the birth of her daughter.
Caitlin was noticeably absent from the video.
Kylie and boyfriend Travis Scott welcomed their baby girl on Thursday at 4.43pm.
She weighed 8lbs, 9oz.
Kim, Khloe, and Khris have also paid tribute to Kylie and congratulated her on the birth of her first child.
Khloe shared a photo of the pair showing off their bumps, commenting on the “magical ride” the two of them had had.
