Chrissy Teigen reveals struggles of dealing with mommy shamers

“If I seem like I don’t care, I definitely care.”

Heartbreaking.

Chrissy Teigen has opened up about being mommy shamed – admitting the criticism “get her every time”.

The mum of one has never been shy about speaker her mind – whether it’s about her battle with postpartum depression to her struggles with alcohol.

But her candid nature has drawn some critics, particularly when it comes to her parenting style.

She told Today.com:

“It gets to me every time.

“I feel like pregnancy is the time for them to warm you up to the shaming that’s about to come because they really go in on you.”

The model recent photo of Luna wearing jelly shoes sparked controversy – and how she now has to double think before posting anything.

She explained:

“She’s obsessed with jelly shoes and every time I put them on her, I get a million people saying, ‘Those have chemicals in them.’

“It’s just so much. I don’t want to have to look at a photo for 20 minutes before I post it.”

And even earlier this year, the cookbook author came under fire for holding Luna.

But Twitter users quickly applauded her for snapping back when people criticised the tot for “never showing emotion”.

Chrissy added:

“You realize you’re going to get it no matter what, and it started when I was pregnant.

“If I seem like I don’t care, I definitely care.”
