We’re not for a moment dismissing Prince George and Princess Charlotte’s ranking on the cuteness radar.
But we have to say that Princess Estelle and Prince Oscar of Sweden are lately putting a strong foot forward as Europe’s most adorable royals.
And this weekend, mum-of-two Crown Princess Victoria was celebrating her 40th birthday alongside hubby, Prince Daniel, and the two kids.
They family had a formal thanksgiving service in Stockholm on Friday, followed by an afternoon of delighting crowds of locals and tourists in front of Solliden Palace in Borgholm on Saturday.
In the sunshine yesterday, five-year-old Estelle looked like a darling in a blue floral dress which perfectly complemented her stylish mother’s own choice of attire.
Meanwhile Prince Oscar, aged 16 months, was a handsome little man in a sky-blue waistcoat and white shirt.
Victoria is the eldest child and heiress of King Carl XVI Gustaf.
She will eventually be Sweden’s fourth queen regnant and the first since 1720. Her daughter, Estelle, is also in line to inherit the throne after her mother.
Victoria and Daniel married in June 2010. He is a former gym owner and first met the princess when he became her personal trainer.
