A woman is getting a lot of love online after sharing a photograph of herself breastfeeding her nephew.
Meg Nagle, who is a lactation consultant and blogger, shared the below snap on her Facebook page called ‘The Milk Meg’.
It shows her feeding her sister’s baby. She explained in the caption: “I tried to give him a bottle of her expressed milk a few times (which he wouldn’t take).
“I could see he was tired so I popped him on the boob and voila, he was asleep in minutes.”
My gorgeous little nephew! While my sister was at work today I tried to give him a bottle of her expressed milk a few…

According to The Huffington Post, Meg is a mum-of-three and is still feeding her youngest child. She explained to followers that she had her sister’s permission.
The majority of the comments were incredibly positive with other mums sharing similar stories and saying they would love to do this.
One wrote: “My sister gave birth to my beautiful nephew nearly 4 years ago now! She was exhausted in hospital and he wasn’t quite latching, and she actually asked me ‘PLEASE! JUST FEED HIM!!!’. I felt so honoured to give him his first decent feed as a freshy and to help my poor sister get some much needed rest! Will never forget it! Bonding through boob juice!”
Another revealed: “When I was a baby (1984) my mom had problems breastfeeding me and I got ill, my mom’s sister in law also had a baby & she breastfed me a few times until I got better. I’ve heard of this story many times. If I have the opportunity to help a family/friend breastfeed their baby out of necessity, I will do it too. Go Meg!”
Others weren’t so keen with one writing: “I’m sorry. . Breast feeding is a personal bond between mother and child. Unless it’s an urgent situation , I don’t agree with it.” Another admitted that she thought it was great however it just wasn’t for her.
