safefood, the health eating body, recently asked Irish parents for their top tips on how they deal with giving treats to their kids.
One parent recommended not buying treats so they are not in the house (they do say “out of sight, out of mind”).
Another suggested giving kids smaller portions (for example, half a bag of crisps in a bowl rather than a whole portion out of the pack).
