Hilary Duff’s son has picked out a name for her second child – and it’s hilarious

It's certainly unique, anyways

She confirmed her pregnancy a few days ago.

Hilary Duff has opened up about how her six-year-old son, Luca, is adjusting to the news he is going to be a big brother.

The actress admitted on the Late Late Show with James Corden that her young son had initially had a bit of trouble with the idea of a baby sister at first – but has since warmed up to the idea.

In fact, he had even picked out a name for his soon-to-be sibling.

The actress explained:

“We’re up for any kind of [name] suggestions, but Luca thinks ‘Cofant Croissant’ is like, the coolest name.

“There would be no confusion. And when I just refer to it as ‘Cofant,’ and I’m like, ‘That would be so cool, no one at school’s going to be named Cofant’,  he’s like ‘Croissant. Cofant Croissant.’

“It goes together. There’s no separating the two.”

Last week, the singer announced that she and her boyfriend, Matthew Koma, were expecting their first child together.

She wrote:

“Guess what guys! @matthewkoma and I made a little princess of our own and we couldn’t be more excited!!!!!!”

Duff already has one son, six-year-old Luca, with her ex-husband Mike Comrie.

The pair married in 2010 and eventually divorced in 2015 citing irreconcilable differences. They both requested primary physical and legal joint custody of their son.
