Each to their own, we suppose.
We’ve heard our fair share of eh, questionable, baby names over the years.
We’re not going to list them here because there’s far too many to count, but we’re sure you’ve got your own special bank of names you’re ready and willing to offer when necessary.
“What’s the worst one you’ve ever heard, Karen?”
“Got to be Mary from down the road who called her baby ‘Crofton.’ Or Janice from around the corner who named her newborn ‘Hank.'”
Yeah, pretty bad, in fairness.
This baby name might just trump all of the above though, because it’s technically not even a name, it’s… well, it’s just what the infant is.
‘Baby.’
Married At First Sight‘s Susie Bradley is the mother in question and she said that she did it because she just loves the name ‘Baby.’
Which is a fair enough reason to do it, we guess.
She told the Daily Telegraph:Â
“When I was in high school, I used to write a list of names I liked for my children and that was always on my list.
“Then when it came to naming our daughter, we just weren’t set on anything so one day I jokingly said to my partner at the time, ‘we should just call her Baby,’ and he agreed.”
Fair, yeah.
‘Baby’, who is now four-years-old, features regularly on her mother’s Instagram, with Susie saying that she wishes she will stay her little baby forever.
Sweet.
