A woman from Ukraine was “very shocked” when she found out that she was going to be welcoming quintuplets as opposed to twins.
The Mirror reports that Oksana Kobeletska (37) believed that she was pregnant with twins, only to find out that three more babies were on the way.
She ended up welcoming three boys and two girls via Caesarean section on June 24th. All of the babies are said to be doing well.
The babies’ names are as follows: Denis, Dariya, Vladislav, Oleksandra and David.
Speaking about her surprise arrivals, Oksana said:
“I’m very shocked because I thought that (I was having) twins or something like that… I didn’t expect it and never anticipated it.”
She and her husband, who already had a three-year-old daughter, were apparently presented with an apartment from Odessa city officials.
