Stacey Solomon has admitted she would “feel bad” if she didn’t feed her sons a certain way while weaning them onto solids.
The Loose Women presenter said that she would have felt guilty if she didn’t pre-chew her baby’s food before giving it to them.
Speaking on the show yesterday, she said:
“If you are not chewing it up and spitting it into your baby’s mouth you feel bad about it don’t you?
“I used to do a bit of everything, just what was always convenient.”
Stacey was speaking to actor Jacqueline Jossa about weaning practices when she admitted that she would feel bad if she wasn’t chewing up the food.
However, she also said she would usually just do whatever was most convenient for her and for her sons at the time.
“Sometimes I would get a jar as I would not have time to get anything else,” she said, “and some times I would boil up a lot of carrots and just mush them to a pulp.”
“Most of the time it was just what was there. Anything goes as I was just happy they were weaning so I no longer had to sterilise bottles.”
Stacey sons – Zachery and Leighton – are now both five and 10-years-old and appear to have a very close relationship with their mum.
The former X Factor star and presenter has been dating fellow presenter Joe Swash for the past few years.
