The British royal family were out in force for the Trooping the Colour ceremony in London today. The event marked the Queen’s official 90th birthday, but one (much younger) little lady stole the show.
Prince Charlotte made her palace balcony debut alongside the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and big brother Prince George to watch the RAF flypast.
Not even Queen Elizabeth’s bold neon green ensemble could distract thousands of fans on Horse Guards Parade from the adorable one-year-old, who we last caught a glimpse of in a portrait of the Queen’s great-grandchildren revealed in April.
Sitting happily in her mother’s arms, Charlotte wore a pretty pale pink sundress with matching sandals and pink socks. Her brown hair was swept to the side with a pink clip.
Kate Middleton looked fresh in the same cream Alexander McQueen coat dress she wore at Charlotte’s christening, complemented by a pale pink floral Philip Treacy hat to match her daughter’s outfit, while Prince William, holding little George in a smart collared shirt, looked dashing in full uniform.

Ever the charmer, Prince George demanded to be let down from his daddy’s arms and proceeded to wave to the waiting crowds below.
Other family members who turned out in the June sunshine to celebrate the Queen’s 90th birthday included Princess Anne, Camilla, Prince Harry, Prince Edward, Prince Philip and Sophie, Countess of Wessex.
The Trooping the Colour ceremony involved 1,400 soldiers and 200 horses, with proceedings led by more than 400 musicians.
