Screenwriter confirms the news ALL kids want to hear about Jurassic World 2

It had to happen

Granted, the T-Rex from Jurassic Park came across as a bit of a jerk to begin with.

Nobody – NOBODY – deserves to be eaten alive midway through having a poo, even if they are some arsey, jumped-up lawyer.

To be fair to the tiny-armed killing machine, he really got his stuff together towards the end of it, killing those velociraptors and finishing as a goodie.

Glossing over the fact that he undoes all his raptor-slaying hard work by going on that rampage in San Diego in The Lost World, the T-Rex ends Jurassic World as a hero too – kicking the crap out of genetically-modified, hybrid dino-bastard Indominus Rex, before that fishy dinosaur leaps out of its tank to finish the job.

With all this in mind, we’re sure you’ll be glad to learn that we now have confirmation that the T-Rex will be returning for Jurassic World‘s imaginatively named sequel: Jurassic World 2.

Replying to the below tweet, sent by the parent of a young T-Rex enthusiast…

…screenwriter of the new movie (and director of Jurassic World) Colin Trevorrow shared the good news.

Little is known about JW2 at this point, although it’s due to be set away from Nublar, the island that has been the primary setting of Jurassic Park and Jurassic World.
