Baking: it’s an exact science.
Add a touch too much baking powder or a smidge less butter than recommended and you’re likely to find yourself staring sadly through the oven window as your creation rises too much or collapses dramatically onto itself.
Add to that the pressure to spell those special iced greetings properly and you’ve literally got yourself a recipe for disaster.
