Boy, 6, found unconscious in woods after being missing for 3 nights

A missing six-year-old boy has been found alive but unconscious in a woods after going missing for three days and nights.

The child had been staying with his family at a house in the village of Eski Igrik, north east Azerbaijan.

He wandered off one evening to explore the forest near the house and disappeared, according to Metro.

A large-scale search involving the Civil Defence Forces of the Northern Regional Centre, the Rescue Service of Special Risk, members of the State Fire Protection Service, Internal Troops and police from the Ministry of Internal Affairs was launched.

The boy was discovered around four miles from where he went missing.

He was unconscious and in a weak condition, having gone without food while he was missing.

He was hospitalised after he was found but was deemed healthy enough to return home after several tests and was reunited with his family.
