How adorable.
Kate Middleton has proven, once again, that she knows the perfect thing to say in any occasion in her first royal engagement back from maternity leave.
The Duchess of Cambridge had been on maternity leave since giving birth to her third child, Prince Louis, in April but yesterday officially marked her return to work.
The mum of three visited the Sayers Croft Trust Forest School and Wildlife Garden in London to see that the work that the organisation does.
The grounds are designed to give children living in the city the chance to learn about nature and the pictures of the Duchess meeting the kids are just too sweet.

But there was one particularly heartwarming encounter that royal family fans couldn’t help but notice.
A concerned little girl approached the Duchess to ask about photographers who were there taking snapshots of the day’s events.
“Why are they picturing you?” she asked the royal mum-of-three, in footage on The Royal Family Channel.
Kate, without taking a pause, told her that “they’re picturing you cause you’re special!” as the two of them walked towards a picnic table.

She reportedly spent the rest of the day chatting to the little ones to see what they love most about the wildlife garden and forest.
And, of course, she stayed around for story time – and joined the students making leaf crowns and on a mini beast hunt.
