A seven-year-old was handcuffed and arrested by police after attacking his teacher.

The unnamed Miami boy was taken into police custody after allegedly punching his teacher in the back and pulling her hair.

Footage of the boy getting out of a police car has since emerged on Facebook.

The video shows the boy being led from the car in handcuffs to obtain a psychiatric evaluation under state law.

The boy’s father, Rolando Fuentes, told NBC Miami that the boy will be punished but that he thought the police officer’s actions were “unbelievable.”

He said:

“I know my kid did wrong, and he will be punished for what he did.

“But what the police officer did afterward, this is out of hand. Unbelievable.”

The video has been viewed over 3 million times and shared by almost 70,000 other Facebook users.

According to the school police report, the boy was upset because his teacher told him not to play with his food.

The  report said the boy “attacked the teacher by repeatedly punching her on the back.”

The teacher then tried to restrain the boy but he continued to attack her until they fell to the ground.

The teacher said that she wanted to press charges.

Fuentes has said that his son does not have a “mental disorder” but that he had been bullied in the past.
