This family’s Christmas dance routine is all sorts of amazing

Have you written and posted off your Christmas cards yet?

If you have not (who has the bloody time?!), here’s an idea for you: How about getting the family to perform a little dance-show? Then e-mail the efforts around to your family and friends for a fun and festive little holiday treat?

That’s what you would be doing if you were taking a leaf out of this family’s book, anyway.

For the past four years, the Orgill family from Utah in the US (that’s all EIGHT siblings of them) have created a choreographed dance routine – set to a Christmas song of course – that they perform for family and friends.

This year, the choice of song fell on Justin Bieber’s rendition of “Santa Claus Is Coming To Town.” And the result is nothing short of epic.

Ever since Ammon Orgill uploaded the video, showing himself and his seven siblings dancing (wearing their mum’s old Christmas jumpers), to Youtube on December 1st, the clip has gone viral and been viewed more than 3 MILLION times on Facebook.

Orgill told a local radio station that it has become an annual tradition for the family to come together and perform a dance.

“Our family has actually loved making videos together since we were very young,” he tells KSL.com of the now much-shared vide. “Our parents would have us put on funny little plays and then videotape us just for fun.”

Of his large family, made up of five siblings by birth, three adopted siblings, as well as now all their spouses and children, Orgill explains:

“We are all really different individuals in many ways and have our share of familial stress and conflict. But the really great thing about our family – and that our parents really need to be given credit for – is that we know how to put these differences aside and just love each other. We would all do anything for each other, and I think that love and togetherness really shows in our video.”

We may have just shed a little Christmas tear! Nwahhh!

Does YOUR family have any fun traditions that take place over the holidays? Feel free to share them ith us (pics and videos are GREAT!) in an e-mail to: Trine.Jensen@Herfamily.ie
