Us mums are short on time, aren’t we?
There is a lot to do when it comes to kids, work, house stuff, organising schedules, appointments, playdates.. and that’s not to mention the dreaded laundry!
There is seriously never a moment in our house when the laundry isn’t getting some sort of attention, whether it’s loading up the machine, or ironing, folding, staring at the pile with disgust and wondering how the basket is full again..
Well, Chinese students at Dalian Nationalities University seem to be trying to help us with their new invention, the Bike Washing Machine.
The concept essentially combines an exercise bike with a washing machine.
It works by using the pedal power to spin a clothing drum that takes place of the front wheel.
So yes, you’ll have to do the hard work to get that thing moving, but I think it’d be a super opportunity to unleash all your housework rage in a positive, laundry-busting way.
It remains to be seen whether these students can bring ‘BiWa’ to market so in the meantime, I’ll be over here giving death-stares to the hot press.
