Congratulations are in order because Skepta is going to be a father.
The rapper and grime artist announced the news on Instagram this afternoon, sharing a photo of a 3D ultrasound scan with a rose emoji.
The scan read ‘baby Adenuga’, pointing to the artist’s real name which is Joseph Adenuga.
The sonogram looks to be of a pregnancy in the third trimester.
The post led to much congratulations from Skepta’s fans, with some joking that they didn’t know that they were pregnant.
The rapper is believed to have a longterm secret girlfriend, but he has also been linked to supermodel and actor Naomi Campbell.
Skepta won the award for Best British Male at last year’s NME Awards.
He also previously told Time Out magazine, “I’m not a rapper. I’m an activist” and has been listed as one of the most influential people in the UK by Debrett.Â
